Someone took issue with this beautiful memorial...

This is why I'm not Catholic. No religion should make you feel bad.

It' so sad how guilt and misguided understanding of religion can just totally warp someone's point of view. How someone can think this sign is meant to bestow guilt on anyone is so hard to understand. But then again, if I were living with the guilt of having done something wrong, but not willing to face the reality that I had done wrong and needed to accept that, I might find it easier to continue believing I was right and work to get others to believe as I do.

I pray for those who view this topic with clouded vision such as this...

I have the most wonderful...

I have the most wonderful gift of being able to watch Dan my 5 year old son learn to read. It's amazing. It's like watching a flower unfold in the sunshine as he learns to read word by word and see the wonderful smile on his face as he takes pride in what he's learned how to do.
